Whether you would prefer your ship hijacked by someone who only pretended to know how to steer her or by someone who knows exactly how to steer her definitively into the hands of the highest-bidding pirates depends on how much faith you have in the rest of the crew’s willingness to mutiny when circumstances demand it.
